The Lineweaver PTO supports students, teachers, staff, and families through school events, fundraising, volunteer support, and community-building throughout the year.

- Help Keep Lineweaver Students Fueled: PTO Snack Drive
The Lineweaver PTO is collecting snacks to help make sure students have something available when they forget a snack or are unable to bring one from home. A small snack can make a big difference in helping students stay focused, comfortable, and ready to learn throughout the school day.
We are looking for donations of individually packaged, nut-free snacks that meet the Arizona Healthy Schools Act and TUSD Nutrition Standards. Suggested items include unsweetened applesauce, fruit crisps, fruit cups in water, baked chips, whole grain pretzels, popcorn, whole wheat graham crackers, whole wheat crackers, and granola bars.
Donations can be purchased from any store and dropped off at the Lineweaver front office. Families can also purchase items from our Amazon Snack Drive list and have them sent directly to the school:
Please keep in mind that A.R.S. 15-242.01 prohibits schools from serving or selling ultra-processed foods during the school day, including classroom snacks, birthday celebrations, and prizes or incentives. This does not prevent parents or guardians from sending these foods specifically for their own child.
Thank you for helping us maintain a supply of snacks for students who need them. Our goal is simple: no Lineweaver student should have to go through the school day hungry.
- Fall Festival Planning
Fall Festival planning is underway, and we would love to have more families and community members involved! This year’s festival will be especially exciting as we celebrate Lineweaver Elementary’s 70th anniversary and work to make the event one of our biggest yet.
Our upcoming Fall Festival planning meetings will be held at 7:00 PM on:

- Welcome Back Students!
The Lineweaver PTO is excited to kick off the school year with a Welcome Back fundraiser at Peter Piper Pizza.
Join us on Thursday, August 20, 2026, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Peter Piper Pizza, located at 4112 E. 22nd St., Tucson, AZ 85711.
There will be contests, a guessing game, raffle drawings, prizes, and plenty of time for families to eat, play, and catch up after summer break. The PTO will also be hosting a class attendance pizza party contest, so make sure your child’s class gets credit when you attend.
Teachers can receive a free 7-inch, 1-topping pizza and 20 oz. cup when they attend and show their school ID at the cashier when ordering. Additional items can be added to their order.
Students can receive 5 free points added to their play cards when they wear their reminder sticker and give it to the cashier when ordering. One sticker may be redeemed per student.
We hope to see lots of Lineweaver families there as we celebrate the start of a new school year and support the PTO.
